Unbeatable location in the fantastic area, right by Thailand, Samoa, Australia and South Africa. Plus, close to Hay Street Mall...
Pretty average views.

Size of the room; the view.
Overall I was quite disappointed - the electricity in the room (powerpoints) seemed very outdated and even dodgy. It seemed like a very poor and hasty sort of "make-over' had been completed, but that must have been a while ago. There were no comfortable chairs to sit in. Our (only one) bedside lamp did not work (and we had to push the customer service officer at the reception to come up and replace it - his excuse was that he was the only staff member on duty!). The shower curtain had a ring of dark brown dirt running along the bottom seam. The room had an old fashioned key, rather than an access card. Certainly there was nothing "deluxe" about our room! And this hotel does not warrant a 4 star rating.

Straight talk, worth it or not?
The location was prime! Just a short walk to the CBD and friendly staff.
The rooms were tiny! Although quiet, lacked essential amenities was nice.

Great location close to all that you need in Perth.
Very poor soundproofing between rooms, especially interconnecting rooms. The hotel is old, but well kept.

The location is good and the view to Swan river is fantastic.
I would expect the used cups and utensils are clean and put away, it did not. I tested 2 times and still the cleaners never clean up. This is not the true hotel service.

The location is fabulous, right in the heart of everything. The Beautiful King Room was perfect, decorated elegantly. The highlight of my visit was definitely the staff. Rosie at the front desk were very good in making me feel welcome. The bathroom was spacious, with a fantastic shower and nice amenities. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The air conditioning did not work well initially, made the first night uncomfortable. After reporting it, it got fixed promptly. The check-in process could use clearer instructions, as I felt a bit lost upon arrival. My stay was very pleasant with just a few minor hiccups. I would definitely return!

It was really convenient for everywhere I wanted to go whether itd be the city or wharf or elsewhere since the busports just a 2min walk & service was pretty good.
Just the wardrobes could use some vacuuming & bath needs some scrubbing & maybe a toilet brush would be good since room service doesnt clean it for you.
